I have been contacted more and more the past few months about speeding along both Canterbury / South Canterbury as well as Tipperary Tail. The board is looking into measures we can take to help curb this but this afternoon a 9 year old boy was hit on Tipperary near the clubhouse. It sounds like he is going to be ok but this incident is going to ratchet up the board's response. In the short term we are going to contact the Lincoln Police Department to request increased patrols in the neighborhood and begin the next steps to find out if speed bumps can be installed. Speed bumps are going to be a hassle as they have to be removed and reinstalled yearly for snow plows but if we can't get folks to slow down I don't see what else we can do. Any other suggestions are welcome!
